Comikaze Aftermath

After opening its doors to those attending for the fifth year this past weekend in Los Angeles, over 70,000 fans made their way around the con. As I expected, there wasn't much news revealed over the weekend but there were a couple of cool announcements. One of them included Hot Toys, a production company based in Hong Kong that specializes in scale collectible figures including Batman, the Avengers, Star Wars, and many more announced a collectible action figure of the one and only Mr. Stan "the Man" Lee. Hot Toys makes amazing looking collectibles that almost look life like. This is very cool for fans of Stan Lee and even Hot Toys. The scale figure is being sold for $199.99 or they also have a payment plan available for as little as $50.00 a month but including the tax (I didn't include shipping because it is estimated differently) the total comes out to $214.98. They are taking pre-orders right now and is expected to ship out between July 2016 to September 2016. The figure also comes with other cool stuff like different outfits, directors chair, interchangeable hands, etc.

Also released this past weekend was Stan Lee's World of Heroes extended video of "No Hero Now" which is a music video. Of course it wouldn't be a Stan Lee project without the man himself having a cameo in it which what he is known for. In every Marvel movie, you'll find him in a scene acting as a different character each time. Watch a Marvel movie and you'll find him in there. Here is the link to the video to check out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdA9txx1m7s

And you have time, look up "Comikaze 2015" and look at the articles about cosplay because you will see some amazing looking costumes that people dress up in and have created.
